Gems International Al Khail - 2018-2021 (Dubai)

Responsible for leading a class of Grade 4 students in addition to building and supporting a team of 12 teachers and teaching assistants. 

Responsibilities included:

• mentoring and supporting teachers and teaching assistants, both in-person, online, and during Covid19 pandemic restrictions
  
• serving as Committee Chair for the PYP Self Study (Teaching and Learning)
  
• Head of House for the school’s Pastoral Care system

Responsibilities included:​

• creating inquiry based lesson plans in accordance with IB and school-wide curriculum standards.
  
• leading a team in the creation of  a school-wide assessment tool for the ATL’s.
  
• developing and leading a House Leadership Team, as Primary Head of House: planning and programming events, liaising with Grade Level Leaders, promoting events through various channels, and encouraging and motivating students.
